CFE raises 2010 outlook, boosted by dredging

Boskalis posts strong result amid challenging market conditions

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. realized a net profit of € 123.9 million in the first half of 2010, up from € 102.7 million in the first half of 2009. The profit contribution from Smit Internationale N.V. ("SMIT"), excluding interest expenses on the acquisition finance but including all other effects related to the transaction, was € 9.5 million.

Boskalis wins capital and maintenance dredging project in Angola

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. has been awarded a contract for the capital and maintenance dredging of the Soyo LNG port in Angola. The total contract value is approximately € 155 million in which Boskalis has a 50% share. The contract was awarded by Angola LNG Ltd. Work is set to commence in 2010 and capital dredging is set to be completed by mid 2011. Included in the contract is an optional maintenance contract running from early 2012 until early 2014.
